Mergers
and Acquisitions
When
a merger or acquisition takes place frequently there are significant but
short term changes to the way in which the accounting and other Key
Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) are gathered and disseminated. Often a
significant amount of work may be needed to revalue assets or to restate the
figures for the acquired company, which may have a different year-end or
have adopted different accounting policies. We can lead or assist in this
process and if necessary ensure that the reporting systems going forward
capture all the necessary information for internal or public reporting.
Accounting or Treasury Systems
Planning and Implementation
In order to gain new efficiencies within their administration departments, companies are occasionally obliged to change their accounting or treasury systems and/or centralise these operations in a new location. We have led or been involved in a number of projects of this nature and can assist in the planning and/or implementation stage of this process working with both internal and other external resources to ensure a smooth transition.
Introduction of new reporting
systems
In
periods of growth or change companies, both large and small, often need to
revisit the financial and KPI information they present to their Boards and
their stakeholders. Sometimes this needs to be gathered differently or
presented in a more succinct format.
We can help to design multi site, multi currency reporting systems for both large and small groups incorporating the means to capture the data and be able to report it in a format agreed with the client.
IPO and/or Development of Prospectus or Annual Report
Our consultants have coordinated and produced numerous Annual Reports and Prospectuses both for the LSE and for NASDAQ. These include an IPO on NASDAQ and numerous secondary offerings on the LSE. We also have experience of quarterly reporting on NASDAQ.
